Startpage is the world’s most private search engine. But you don’t need to take our word for it: Even Edward Snowden, famous worldwide for his fight for internet privacy, recommends it. By making online tracking and search data storage and sale a thing of the past, Startpage guarantees the highest level of data protection with every search.

After winning the business as lead agency, we’re given the task of launching Startpage in Germany. Together, we developed the strategy, creative executions, media planning and buying for online, offline, radio, Spotify, Guerilla…. Basically the full package.

So we decided to show Startpage’s main benefit – being truly anonymous – in a visual way.
To do that, we partnered-up with Fuze Image and developed a series of striking pixelated portraits. Now, it doesn’t matter if you wanna search for cat memes, escape Big Brother’s watchful eye, or just look for fellow BDSM lovers: With Startpage, your search is your thing, and your thing only.


Under the motto “Deine Suche. Dein Ding.” (Your Search. Your thing.) and backed up with witty headlines, our campaign launched across Berlin in mid-May 2021.  The OOH part of the campaign spanned across a variety of wheat-paste posters, billboards, DOOH, and wild posters. The roll-out was supported by radio spots, online/social ads, privacy-loving influencers and even our very own IG filter. 

After the initial 360 degrees roll-out, many other activities are planned.
